Story Transcript:

He: השמש זורחת מבין ההרים החומים של ים המלח.
En: The sun rises between the brown mountains of the Yam HaMelach (Dead Sea).

He: אריאל נוהג במכונית, ידיו מהדקות את ההגה.
En: Ariel is driving the car, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly.

He: לצידו יושבת נועה, מביטה בנוף ובהרהורים, מתרגשת לקראת חופשת השׁבועות שלהם.
En: Beside him sits Noa, gazing at the scenery and wrapped in her thoughts, excited for their Shavuot vacation.

He: מאחור יושב דוד, חבר טוב ונאמן של השניים, משחק עם הרדיו ומשנה תחנות בכל פעם שצליל בשיר לא מתיישב עם מצב רוחו.
En: In the back sits David, a good and loyal friend of the two, playing with the radio and changing stations every time a note in a song doesn't suit his mood.

He: "אריא'לה," אומר דוד, "ודאי יש לך תכנית סודית היום!
En: "Ariela," David says, "surely you have a secret plan today!"

He: "אריאל מחייך, אך לִבּוֹ דופק מהר.

He: פתאום נשמעת רעשן מכיוון גלגל המנגנון.
En: Suddenly, a rattling sound comes from the wheel mechanism.

En: David sighs, "Oh, just a perfect day for a little driving glitch!"

He: "אריאל עוצר את המכונית.
En: Ariel stops the car.
