Story Transcript:

He: השמש הייתה בהירה בשוק הכרמל.
En: The sun was bright over the Carmel Market.

He: אנשים בכל מקום עם סלים מלאים בפירות וירקות.
En: People were everywhere with bags full of fruits and vegetables.

He: המולת השוק הייתה גדולה.
En: The buzz of the market was intense.

He: אבי, יעל ונועם הגיעו לשוק כדי לקנות אוכל לשבת.
En: Avi, Yael, and Noam arrived at the market to buy food for Shabbat.

He: הם הסתובבו בין הדוכנים, התבוננו בירקות הטריים ובפירות המגוונים.
En: They wandered between the stalls, observing the fresh vegetables and various fruits.

He: אבי חייך וניסה למצוא את ריח התבלינים.
En: Avi smiled and tried to capture the scent of the spices.

He: פתאום, נועם צעק, "אבי, תיזהר!"
En: Suddenly, Noam shouted, "Avi, watch out!"

He: אבל זה היה מאוחר מדי.
En: But it was too late.

He: אבי דרך על קליפת בננה והתחליק.
En: Avi stepped on a banana peel and slipped.

He: הוא נפל ונפגע בכף רגלו.
En: He fell and injured his foot.

He: יעל רצה לעזור לאבי לקום.
En: Yael ran to help Avi get up.

He: "אבי, אתה בסדר?" היא שאלה בדאגה.
En: "Avi, are you okay?" she asked with concern.

He: אבי ניסה לקום, אבל הכאב היה חזק מדי.
En: Avi tried to stand up, but the pain was too intense.

He: "אני חושב שסובבתי את הקרסול." הוא אמר.
En: "I think I twisted my ankle," he said.

He: נועם חיפש עזרה מיד.
En: Noam immediately sought help.

He: הוא מצא דוכן עם מוכר ידידותי ושאל אם יש לו קרח.
En: He found a stall with a friendly vendor and asked if he had ice.

He: המוכר נתן לו שקית קרח קטנה.
En: The vendor gave him a small bag of ice.

He: נועם חזר במהירות לאבי.
En: Noam quickly returned to Avi.

He: "שים את הקרח על הקרסול שלך." אמר נועם.
En: "Put the ice on your ankle," said Noam.

He: אבי עשה כך והרגיש קצת יותר טוב.
En: Avi did so and felt a bit better.

He: יעל הציעה, "בואו נלך לרופא."
En: Yael suggested, "Let's go to the doctor."

He: נועם הסכים מיד.
En: Noam agreed right away.

He: הם מצאו מונית קרובה ונסעו לבית החולים.
En: They found a nearby taxi and headed to the hospital.

He: במהלך הנסיעה, אבי ניסה לשמור על חיוך ולהרגיע את יעל ונועם.
En: During the ride, Avi tried to keep smiling and reassure Yael and Noam.

He: כשהגיעו לבית החולים, הרופא בדק את הקרסול של אבי.
En: When they arrived at the hospital, the doctor examined Avi's ankle.

He: "תצטרך כמה ימים של מנוחה," אמר הרופא.
En: "You'll need a few days of rest," said the doctor.

He: אבי הנהן בהבנה.
En: Avi nodded in understanding.

He: נועם ויעל עזרו לאבי לחזור הביתה.
En: Noam and Yael helped Avi get back home.

He: הם נאלצו לוותר על הקניות לשבת באותו יום, אבל הבטיחו לעצמם לחזור לשוק בשבוע הבא עם אבי בריא ושלם.
En: They had to forgo the Shabbat shopping that day but promised themselves to return to the market the following week with Avi healthy and whole.

He: הם ישבו יחד לארוחת ערב פשוטה והבינו שמה שחשוב באמת זה להיות יחד.
En: They sat together for a simple dinner and realized that what truly matters is being together.

He: אבי חייך ואמר, "הכל בסדר כשאנחנו יחד."
En: Avi smiled and said, "Everything is alright when we’re together."
