Story Transcript:

He: פעם היה פה בתל אביב ילד בשם אברהם.
En: Once upon a time there was a boy named Avraham here in Tel Aviv.

He: אברהם היה ילד שאוהב לאכול מאוד, והמאהבת הגדולה שלו הייתה פלאפל.
En: Avraham was a boy who likes to eat a lot, and his great lover was falafel.

He: כל יום אברהם הלך לחפש את הפלאפל הטעים ביותר באזור שלו.
En: Every day Avraham went looking for the tastiest falafel in his area.

He: ביום אחד, אברהם החליט ללכת עם הוריו לראות ירושלים.
En: One day, Avraham decided to go with his parents to see Jerusalem.

He: הם הגיעו לרחוב עמוס בירושלים שהיה מלא בדוכנים שונים של אוכל רחוב.
En: They arrived at a busy street in Jerusalem that was full of various street food stalls.

He: אברהם ראה את הדוכנים הרבים ואת האנשים הרבים שהיו סביבם, ונזרק לעין לו דוכן פלאפל יפה.
En: Avraham saw the many stands and the many people who were around them, and a beautiful falafel stand caught his eye.

He: אברהם התקרב לדוכן והוא ראה אישה צעירה מאוד מאחורי הדוכן.
En: Avraham approached the pulpit and he saw a very young woman behind the pulpit.

He: האישה הייתה מרים והיא הייתה מחזיקה בכוס על הגב מלאה בשטרות ומטבעות.
En: The woman was a lifter and she would hold a cup on her back full of bills and coins.

He: אברהם ידע שהוא צריך לדבר איתה אם הוא רוצה לקנות פלאפל.
En: Avraham knew he had to talk to her if he wanted to buy falafel.

He: "שלום!
En: "Hello!"

He: " קרא אברהם בחבלה.
En: Avraham exclaimed in shock.

He: "שלום," ענתה מרים בחיוך.
En: "Hello," answered Miriam with a smile.

He: "אני רוצה לקנות פלאפל," אמר אברהם.
En: "I want to buy falafel," said Avraham.

He: "כמה כסף אתה מוכן לשלם?
En: "How much money are you willing to pay?"

He: " שאלה מרים.
En: Miriam asked.

He: "אני רוצה שתתן לי את הפלאפל בחינם," ענה אברהם.
En: "I want you to give me the falafel for free," replied Avraham.

He: מרים נהפכה ללבנה כמו לבנון לבן.
En: Miriam became white like Lebanon is white.

He: היא נשמעה מאוד עצובה ואמרה, "אני מצטערת ילדי, אבל אני לא יכולה לתת לך את הפלאפל בחינם.
En: She sounded very sad and said, "I'm sorry my child, but I can't give you the falafel for free.

He: אני עובדת קשה בכדי לרווח את הכסף שלי.
En: I work hard to earn my money."

He: "אברהם התעורר למציאות.
En: Avraham woke up to reality.

He: הוא הבין שהפלאפל לא יגיע אליו בחינם.
En: He understood that the falafel would not come to him for free.

He: הוא התחיל לחשוב על מה יכול לעשות כדי לקנות את הפלאפל הטעים הזה.
En: He started thinking about what he could do to buy this delicious falafel.

He: ברגע זה, הציג דוד עצמו לאברהם.
En: At this moment, David introduced himself to Abraham.

He: דוד היה הספק המהיר והידידותי והאם לאברהם היה אידיאלי.
En: David was the fast and friendly supplier and Abraham's mother was ideal.

He: "שלום!
En: "Hello!"

He: " אמר דוד בשמחה, "איך אני יכול לעזור לך?
En: David said happily, "How can I help you?"

He: "אברהם סיפר לדוד בכנות על סיפור הפלאפל ועל בעיה שלו.
En: Avraham told David honestly about the falafel story and his problem.

He: דוד שקל ואמר, "אני יכול לספק לך פתרונות מצוינים!
En: David considered and said, "I can provide you with excellent solutions!

He: את/ה יכול/ה לקנות ממני פלאפל במחיר טוב אם תצליח לעבוד ולאסוף מטבעות לפרק הזמן הקצר הזה.
En: You can buy falafel from me at a good price if you manage to work and collect coins for this short period of time."

He: "אברהם השתכנע שזו התובענה הטובה ביותר שמצא.
En: Avraham was convinced that this was the best claim he found.

He: הוא התחיל לעסוק במשימות קלות שדוד נתן לו כדי לעזור לו לצבור מטבעות.
En: He started doing easy tasks that his uncle gave him to help him accumulate coins.

He: את אחד לגמרי הוא היכול לתת ללקוחות מאחורי הדוכנים.
En: You are the only one he could give to customers behind the counters.

He: אחד אחר היה לחזור במועדים אליו לדוכן פלאפל לעסוק במשתמשי שהם נכנסים לואן.
En: Another one was to return on time to the falafel stand to engage with users who enter Luan.

He: והשלישי, הוא יכול להשיג את חביל המזומן ממרים.
En: And the third, he can get the bundle of cash from Miriam.
