Story Transcript:

He: בדירה בקולג', היה אוויר של סתיו וחגיגות.
En: In the college apartment, there was an air of autumn and celebrations.

He: דלתות חפשו בפנסים כתומים ופרצופי דלעת.
En: Doors were decorated with orange lanterns and pumpkin faces.

He: בכל מקום אפשר היה לשמוע צחוק ומוזיקה, ועבור נועם זה היה יותר מדי.
En: Everywhere laughter and music could be heard, and for Noam, it was too much.

He: נועם היה תלמיד חרוץ.
En: Noam was a diligent student.

He: הוא רצה ללמוד טוב למבחנים.
En: He wanted to study well for the exams.

He: הוא חלם על סטאז' בקיץ, והוא ידע שציונים גבוהים חשובים.
En: He dreamed of an internship in the summer, and he knew that high grades were important.

He: אבל הרעשים והחגיגות לא נתנו לנועם להתרכז.
En: But the noise and celebrations didn't allow Noam to concentrate.

He: באותו ערב, אריאל ותליה הזמינו את נועם למסיבת ליל כל הקדושים בדירה הסמוכה.
En: That evening, Ariel and Talia invited Noam to a Halloween party in the nearby apartment.

He: "נועם, זה יהיה כיף!
En: "Noam, it will be fun!"

He: " אמרה תליה בחיוך.
En: said Talia with a smile.

He: "בוא איתנו.
En: "Come with us."

He: "נועם נשען על הקיר, עיניו בין הספרים לכוס הקפה.
En: Noam leaned against the wall, his eyes on the books and the cup of coffee.

He: "אני צריך ללמוד," אמר בשקט.
En: "I need to study," he said quietly.

He: הוא הרגיש קרוע בין הרצון להתכונן למבחנים לבין הרצון לחגוג וליהנות.
En: He felt torn between the desire to prepare for exams and the desire to celebrate and have fun.

He: בזמן שנוֹעָם ישב וחיפש ריכוז, תליה חזרה עם פאי דלעת ביד.
En: While Noam sat and searched for concentration, Talia returned with a pumpkin pie in hand.

He: "הבאתי משהו מתוק לעודד אותנו," היא אמרה והניחה את הפאי על השולחן.
En: "I brought something sweet to cheer us up," she said, placing the pie on the table.

He: הם התיישבו יחד.
En: They sat together.

He: תוך כדי טעימה מתוקה מהפאי, הקבוצה התחילה לעבור על החומר.
En: While enjoying the sweet taste of the pie, the group began reviewing the material.

He: תליה התחילה להסביר חלק מהנושאים בצורה קלילה, ואריאל סיפר בדיחות כדי לשמור על מצב רוחה של הקבוצה.
En: Talia started explaining some of the topics lightly, and Ariel told jokes to keep the group's spirits high.

He: האווירה השתנתה.
En: The atmosphere changed.

He: הכיף והלימודים התמזגו יחד, והרעש מבחוץ כבר לא הפריע לנועם.
En: Fun and study merged together, and the noise from outside no longer disturbed Noam.

En: He felt more relaxed and less stressed.

En: At that moment, Noam realized something important.
