Story Transcript:

Ja: 成田国際空港の出発ホールは、クリスマスの飾りでいっぱい。
En: The departure hall of Narita International Airport is filled with Christmas decorations.

Ja: 走り回る子供たちや荷物を引く大人たち。
En: Children are running around, and adults are pulling their luggage.

Ja: 背景には控え目なクリスマスソング。
En: In the background, soft Christmas songs are playing.

Ja: ユキは、そんな空港の一角に立っていた。
En: Yuki stood in a corner of such an airport.

Ja: 彼女の心は、ワクワクと不安が入り混じっている。
En: Her heart was a mix of excitement and anxiety.

Ja: オーストラリアへの交換留学プログラムに参加することになったユキ。
En: Yuki was about to participate in an exchange program to Australia.

Ja: 旅立ちの日は、なんとクリスマスイブだった。
En: The day of her departure was Christmas Eve, no less.

Ja: 家族と離れて一人で過ごす初めてのクリスマスに、心が揺れている。

En: In truth, he wished Yuki could stay.

Ja: ユキの妹、メイは目を輝かせて姉を見上げている。
En: Yuki's younger sister, Mei, looked up at her with shining eyes.

En: Should she go or should she stay?

Ja: 冒険への期待と家族への愛情が交錯する。
En: The anticipation of adventure intertwined with her love for her family.

Ja: でも、彼女は深呼吸をし、メイの手を優しく握りしめる。
En: But, she took a deep breath and gently squeezed Mei's hand.

Ja: 「行ってくるね。」
En: "I'm off."

Ja: ハルトも笑顔で頷く。
En: Harto also nodded with a smile.

Ja: 「帰ってきたら、また話を聞かせて。」
En: "Tell us all about it when you come back."

Ja: その言葉に背中を押され、ユキはゲートに向かう。
En: Encouraged by these words, Yuki walked towards the gate.

Ja: 搭乗口から見送る家族と友人の姿。
En: She saw her family and friends waving from the boarding gate.

Ja: 飛行機が滑走路を走り出す。
En: The airplane started running down the runway.

Ja: ユキは窓の外を見つめ、少し不安だったが、新しい経験への期待がそれを上回った。
En: Looking out the window, Yuki felt a bit anxious, but the anticipation of the new experiences exceeded that.

Ja: 飛行機が空に舞い上がり、ユキは微笑む。
En: As the plane ascended into the sky, Yuki smiled.

Ja: 彼女は知っている。新しい世界に飛び出すことで、成長することができると。
En: She knew that by jumping into a new world, she could grow.
