It: Gianna, la sua amica fidata, era accanto a lui.
En: Gianna, his trusted friend, was beside him.

En: "You need to talk to Matteo," she said to him, with a tone that was firm yet gentle.

En: Alessio looked at her, his eyes reflecting the weight of his thoughts.

En: He knew he needed to reconcile with his brother.

En: After days of reflection, he had asked Gianna to organize a special evening at the Colosseo, hoping that the magical atmosphere of the place could help.

En: "What if he refuses?"

It: chiese Alessio, combattendo contro la sua insicurezza.
En: Alessio asked, battling against his insecurity.

It: Gianna scosse la testa, "Devi provarci.
En: Gianna shook her head, "You have to try.

It: Capodanno è tempo di nuovi inizi."
En: Capodanno is a time for new beginnings."

En: That evening, with the cold pinching the skin, Alessio saw Matteo approaching.

It: Il loro incontro fu silenzioso all'inizio, solo i rumori della folla riempivano l'aria.
En: Their meeting was silent at first, only the noises of the crowd filled the air.

It: Entrambi esitavano, prigionieri del loro orgoglio.
En: Both hesitated, prisoners of their pride.

En: Then, like an explosion, fireworks burst into the sky above the Colosseo.

En: Colored lights painted the ancient amphitheater, and the tension broke.

It: Alessio prese un respiro profondo.
En: Alessio took a deep breath.

It: "Matteo," iniziò, "mi dispiace per tutto."
En: "Matteo," he began, "I'm sorry for everything."

En: Matteo remained silent for a moment, then with a softer voice than Alessio had ever heard, he said, "I was wrong too.

En: I let anger rule our family."

En: Words poured out like a river of emotions.

En: They remembered childhood moments, games, laughter, and even arguments.

En: In the end, embracing each other seemed the most natural thing in the world.

En: In that moment, with the sky lighting up in a thousand colors, Alessio understood the importance of vulnerability.

En: He realized that opening his heart was the key to building strong and lasting relationships.

En: While the crowd around them exclaimed for the fireworks display, the two brothers finally felt at peace.

En: When the fireworks died out, a new beginning ignited in the hearts of Alessio and Matteo.

It: Un Capodanno davvero nuovo, pieno di promesse e riconciliazione.
En: A truly new Capodanno, full of promises and reconciliation.
