Story Transcript:

He: השמש חמה בשוק הכרמל בתל אביב.
En: The sun is hot at the Carmel Market in Tel Aviv.

He: מירי, אבי ונועה הגיעו לשוק.
En: Miri, Avi, and Noa arrived at the market.

He: הם מחפשים מצרכים לארוחת שבת.
En: They are looking for ingredients for Shabbat dinner.

He: "השוק מלא אנשים!
En: "The market is full of people!"

He: " אמרה נועה בהתלהבות.
En: Noa said excitedly.

He: ריחות של פירות וירקות טריים בכל מקום.
En: The scents of fresh fruits and vegetables were everywhere.

He: דוכנים עם עוף, דגים ולחם טרי סביבם.
En: Stalls with chicken, fish, and fresh bread surrounded them.

He: "לך לדוכן השום, אבי," אמרה מירי.
En: "Go to the garlic stall, Avi," Miri said.

He: "אנחנו צריכים שום טרי.
En: "We need fresh garlic."

He: "אבי הלך לדוכן.
En: Avi went to the stall.

He: הדוכן היה קטן עם הרבה סוגים של שום.
En: The stall was small, with many kinds of garlic.

He: הוא בחר שני ראשי שום גדולים והביא אותם למירי.
En: He chose two large heads of garlic and brought them to Miri.

He: נועה ראתה תבלינים צבעוניים בדוכן אחר.
En: Noa saw colorful spices at another stall.

He: "אמא, אפשר נקנה כמה תבלינים?
En: "Mom, can we buy some spices?"

He: " היא שאלה.
En: she asked.

He: מירי חייכה ואמרה, "כן, בואי נבחן מה יש פה.
En: Miri smiled and said, "Yes, let's see what we have here."

He: "הם בחרו חופן כורכום ופפריקה לשדרוג התבשילים.
En: They chose a handful of turmeric and paprika to enhance the dishes.

He: כל דוכן היה מלא באמצעים חדשים ויוצאי דופן בשבילם.
En: Each stall was full of new and unusual items for them.

He: הם עברו מדוכן לדוכן, בוחרים ירקות טריים לתבשילים וסלטים.
En: They went from stall to stall, picking fresh vegetables for dishes and salads.

He: פתאום התחיל לרדת גשם קל.
En: Suddenly, a light rain started to fall.

He: "מהר, נמצא מקום מקורה," אמר אבי.
En: "Quick, let's find a covered spot," Avi said.

He: הם מצאו סככה גדולה והתחבאו מתחתיה.
En: They found a large canopy and took shelter underneath it.

He: "כל הכבוד לכולנו," אמרה מירי, "מצאנו את כל המצרכים שצריך לשבת.
En: "Well done, everyone," Miri said, "we found all the ingredients we need for Shabbat."

He: "בסוף, הגשם הפסיק והשוק התבהר.
En: Finally, the rain stopped, and the market cleared up.

He: הם יצאו עם הסלים מלאים.
En: They left with their baskets full.

He: כולם חייכו והרגישו שהם מוכנים לשבת המיוחדת.
En: Everyone smiled and felt ready for the special Shabbat.

He: טיילו הביתה, מבסוטים מיום מלא טעמים, צבעים וריחות.
En: They walked home, happy from a day full of flavors, colors, and scents.

He: כעבור כמה שעות, שולחן השבת היה מלא.
En: A few hours later, the Shabbat table was full.

He: כל המשפחה התכנסה, אוכלים יחד אוכל שהוכן בשוק.
En: The whole family gathered, eating together the food prepared from the market.

He: הם הרגישו שמחה ואחדות אמיתית.
En: They felt true joy and unity.

He: השבת הזו הייתה מלאת ברכה.
En: This Shabbat was full of blessings.

He: כולם נהנו מהאוכל הטעים ומהזמן ביחד.
En: Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and the time together.

He: הם ידעו ששוק הכרמל נתן להם את כל מה שדרוש לארוחה מיוחדת.
En: They knew that the Carmel Market had given them everything they needed for a special meal.
