En: Alon stood on the pier at the naval base by the shore, watching the waves crashing against the rocks.
He: היה יום קיץ חם.
En: It was a hot summer day.
He: השמש זרחה בעוצמה, שולחת קרני אור על המים הכחולים.
En: The sun shone brightly, casting rays of light on the blue waters.
He: במקום שבו עבד היו ספינות קרב מסודרות בשורות מדויקות, וכל רגע היה מתוכנן היטב.
En: In the place where he worked, battleships were arranged in precise rows, and every moment was carefully planned.
He: בינתיים, בראשו של אלון הייתה מערבולת מחשבות.
En: Meanwhile, inside Alon's head, there was a whirlwind of thoughts.
He: לפני שבוע קיבל הודעה פתאומית מהמפקד - הוא נקרא להצטרף לפריסה בלתי צפויה שמתחילה בעוד חודש.
En: A week ago, he received a sudden message from the commander – he was called to join an unexpected deployment starting in a month.

En: With heavy eyes, he explained the predicament he was in.
