En: The sun warmed the neighborhood.

El: Ήταν καλοκαίρι και από τις αυλές ακουγόταν ο ήχος από τις ψησταριές.
En: It was summer, and the sound of grills could be heard from the yards.
El: Η Ελένη ετοίμασε ένα μπάρμπεκιου για την οικογένειά της.
En: Eleni prepared a barbecue for her family.

En: Nikos, her brother, had arrived first.
