He: האור נכנס דרך הווילונות הדקים בסלון הביתי של משפחת כהן.
En: The light entered through the thin curtains in the cozy living room of the Mishpachat Cohen.

He: אורות הקיץ המרצדים מילאו את החדר בזוהר חמים, אבל בלבבות חלק מהנוכחים הייתה תחושת מועקה.
En: The flickering summer lights filled the room with a warm glow, but in the hearts of some present, there was a feeling of unease.

He: אריאל ישב על הספה לצד אחותו, תמר, ובתווך עמד אליעזר, אביהם, עם הבעת פנים רצינית.
En: Ariel sat on the couch next to his sister, Tamar, and between them stood Eliezer, their father, with a serious expression on his face.

He: "תמיד רציתי שתצליח יותר," אמר אליעזר ברגע השקט הראשון בחדר.
En: "I always wanted you to succeed more," said Eliezer in the first quiet moment in the room.

He: אריאל בקושי החזיק את התסכול.
En: Ariel could barely hold back his frustration.

He: "אבא, אני עובד קשה.
En: "Dad, I work hard.

En: Tamar tried to ease the tension.

He: "אבל אריאל לא הצליח יותר לשמור על שתיקתו.
En: But Ariel could no longer keep his silence.

He: "מגיל קטן, אתה תמיד רצית שאלך בדרך שלך.
En: "From a young age, you always wanted me to go your way.

He: רציתי אישור ממך, אבל כלום לא מספיק!
En: I wanted your approval, but nothing is ever enough!"

He: "אליעזר שתק לרגע, נראה כי הוא מנסה להבין את המשמעות של המילים הללו.
En: Eliezer was silent for a moment, seemingly attempting to grasp the meaning of these words.

He: תמר הניחה את ידה על כתפו של אריאל.
En: Tamar placed her hand on Ariel's shoulder.

En: "Maybe we haven't understood it well enough until now," she whispered.

En: The silence that settled in the room was heavy but necessary.

En: "I hadn't thought of it that way," he said, looking at his son.
