Story Transcript:

He: "תל אביב, העיר הלבנה שתמיד בתנודה, מביאה לה את אברהם ולאה, שני חברים ישנים שהוזמנו לבילוי חמישהי באחד המסעדות בשדרות המלך ג'ורג'".
En: Tel Aviv, the bustling city that is always in motion, brought together Abraham and Leah, two old friends who were invited for a Friday outing to one of the restaurants on King George Street.

He: "ערבית נעימה. להקת רחוב שמנגנת מוזיקה ים תיכונית מהדהדת במרפסת הגג של המסעדה. אברהם החליט להפתיע והזמין ללאה מנה שינוי מהרגיל - טקסי מרובע לשניים. לאה הסתכלה בתמימות על התפריט, אבל לא מצאה את המנה."
En: A pleasant evening. A street band playing Mediterranean music resonated in the rooftop terrace of the restaurant. Abraham decided to surprise Leah and ordered a dish out of the ordinary - a square sushi platter for two. Leah innocently looked at the menu, but could not find the dish.

He: ""אבי," קראה את שמו, "איפה מנה כזו בתפריט?". אבל אברהם, בוודאות ונועז, החמיא במלצר זריז עם מגן שדרות חתום בעט הוואיטרים שלו."
En: "Dad," she called out his name, "where is such a dish on the menu?". But Abraham, confidently and boldly, complimented the swift waiter with a signed shield of King George Street on his waitstaff apron.

He: "ברגע שהמנה הגיעה – חש"ל זעיר של כרישה ממרח הראו את מגוונות הרדימר של הקנה-מידה שנבחרה. הראש של אברהם, מוטה על קו מקרסול, רעפים גנוחים מתוך הצחיקה שממלאה אותו."
En: As soon as the dish arrived - a small shark-shaped bite with crab spread highlighted the shades of red and green that were chosen. Abraham's head leaned towards his ankle, shoulders shaking with laughter that filled him.

He: "לאה, שנצפתה בצול, פתחה את עיניה לגן עדן החדווה שהתרחש בפניה, ומהר מאוד גם היא החלה לשתף ולחבוק את הקקי שנפל בתוך צלחת הסלט שלה."
En: Leah, observing the scene, opened her eyes to the paradise of joy that unfolded before her, and quickly she, too, started to giggle and embrace the laughter that fell into her salad plate.

He: "צייצות, שיבולים של צחוק, לוו לאה כשהיא עמדה בראש שידור לכוס המים הקרה, הקשתה לאברהם לשתות, תוך כדי שהיא מנסה להרגיע אותו בידה השנייה."
En: Laughs, bursts of laughter, accompanied Leah as she stood at the head of the broadcast to the cold water glass, arching to Abraham to drink, while trying to calm him down with her other hand.

En: Abraham, lips trembling, sprinkled saliva between his teeth, drank the water in three quick gulps. The feeling of relief appeared in the sparkle of his eyes, and then he completely lost control of laughter.
