Story Transcript:

He: וו.
En: hook.

He: יעל ואברהם ישבו בפארק בתל אביב.
En: Yael and Abraham were sitting in a park in Tel Aviv.

He: אברהם רצה לספר לילדתו איך הוא למד בעברית.
En: Avraham wanted to tell his daughter how he learned Hebrew.

He: הוא אמר לה את הדיבורים.
En: He told her the talk.

He: "יעל, הייתי מספר בדיחה בעברית היום בעבודה.
En: "Yael, I was telling a joke in Hebrew today at work.

He: אני נשמע כמו בוס גדול!
En: I sound like a big boss!"

He: "יעל צחקה.
En: Yael laughed.

He: אברהם חשב שהוא צחוק עם הבדיחה שלו.
En: Avraham thought he was a joke with his joke.

He: אבל יעל צחקה כי עשה טעות.
En: But Yael laughed because he made a mistake.

He: היא חשבה שאברהם רצה לומר "בוס גדול" במקום "סוף גדול".
En: She thought Abraham meant to say "big boss" instead of "big end".

He: היא אמרה, "אברהם, זה לא "בוס גדול", זה "סוף גדול".
En: She said, "Abraham, it's not "big boss", it's "big ending".

He: זה אומר שהיית בקושי ובסוף עשית כמה שאפשר יותר וניצחת!
En: It means you were in difficulty and in the end you did as much as possible and won!"

He: "אברהם הבין את הטעות שלו והתחיל לצחוק איתה.
En: Avraham realized his mistake and started laughing with her.

He: הוא אמר, "תודה יעל!
En: He said, "Thank you Yael!

He: אני לא מבין כל כך הרבה בעברית, אבל עכשיו אני מבין יותר.
En: I don't understand that much Hebrew, but now I understand more.

He: תודה שתיקנת אותי!
En: Thank you for correcting me!"

He: "שניהם צחקו ויעל אמרה, "אברהם, תמיד יש פה מישהו שיכול לעזור לך.
En: They both laughed and Yael said, "Abraham, there is always someone here who can help you.

He: אל תתבייש לשאול שאלות או לבקש עזרה.
En: Don't be shy to ask questions or ask for help.

He: אני כאן כדי לעזור לך תמיד!
En: I am here to help you always!"

He: "אברהם היה שמח שיש לו חברה כמו יעל שיכולה לעזור לו ללמוד עברית.
En: Avraham was happy to have a friend like Yael who could help him learn Hebrew.

He: הם ידעו שחשוב לעזור ולסייע לזולת.
En: They knew it was important to help and assist others.

He: שניהם רק צחקו ונהנו מהרגעים הקלילים יחדיהם בפארק בתל אביב.
En: They both just laughed and enjoyed the light moments together in a park in Tel Aviv.

He: המסקנה הייתה שיעל עזרה לאברהם להבין את הטעות שלו וללמדו לספר נכון בעברית.
En: The conclusion was that Yael helped Avraham understand his mistake and learn to tell Hebrew correctly.

He: אברהם למד שכדי להתקדם בדברים חדשים, חשוב לדבר עם מישהו שיודע יותר ממנו ויכול לעזור לו.
En: Avraham learned that in order to move forward with new things, it is important to talk to someone who knows more than him and can help him.
