Story Transcript:

He: בדוידוף של דקה בנמל הים של תל אביב, דוד כיפף את ראשו כדי להגיד לשרה, הבת זוג שלו, שהטבעות שנעלמו.
En: In a rush minute at the Tel Aviv port, David bent his head to tell Sarah, his spouse, that the rings were missing.

He: אור השמש נצמד לעורה המואר, שִׂמחַת החתונה מתפשטת על פניה.
En: The sunlight clung to her glowing skin, the joy of the wedding spreading across her face.

He: אולי היא תוכל להוסיף לזה צריקת שמחה?
En: Maybe she could add a touch of joy to this?

He: "הטבעות, שרה, אינן נמצאות," חזר דוד, האלך בתדהמה.
En: "The rings, Sarah, are not found," David repeated, walking in bewilderment.

He: הדברים שבו באוויר מסביבם, תל אביב סוחפת את המילים.
En: The words swirling in the air around them, Tel Aviv engulfing the words.

He: שרה נגעה בשסעי החתן.
En: Sarah touched the groom's sleeve.

He: "זה ברסלי, נכון?
En: "It's okay, right?"

He: " שאלה היא, והעשירה אותו בחיוך מרגיע.
En: she asked, enriching him with a calming smile.

He: באותו זמן, דינמי יוסף, החתן העתידי, היה עסוק באמבטיית המלון ממש מעליהם, הוכח את הפנים במים קרים ומתז פנים למראה.
En: At the same time, dynamic Joseph, the groom-to-be, busy with the hotel's pool right above them, splashed his face with cold water and faced the mirror.

He: ואז שרה, או דוד - לא נותר ברור איזו צופיה בראשה - הביטה למטה, אל המחצלת המצטברת בסוף המסילה.
En: Then Sarah, or David - it was not clear who was the observer - looked down at the growing puddle at the end of the dock.

He: "הא אם זה.
En: "Is it...?"

He: "דוד קפץ למטה, הנף את ידיו לכיוון שאר האנשים, חצי במילים מבלבלות וחצי בצעקות התרגשות.
En: David leaped down, reaching out towards the crowd, partly in confusing words and partly in excited shouts.

He: ובאותו זמן, יוסף חזר לצייד הסמוי ששם דוד וחובש את הטבעת הנוצצת.
En: And at that moment, Joseph returned to the hidden hunter where David put on the sparkling ring.

He: הריקודים החלו, ודוד חש נוסטלגיה לווידיאו.
En: The dancing began, and David felt nostalgic for the video.

He: שרה חייכה כל הערב.
En: Sarah smiled all evening.

He: ויש מקום לחשוב שאף יוסף התחיל להרגיש הקלה שהטבעות התמצאו.
En: And there is room to think that even Joseph began to feel relieved that the rings were found.

He: השיקוף של האורות הבלתי מניחות של תל אביב על הטבעת האבודה והמצויה שוב, החמיא לרגע החודשי של דוד.

He: דוד, שרה ויוסף, שכל החיים שלהם נראו כאילו הם מתנהלים לגמרי בחסר, הצליחו להרגיש שאפשר לעבור דרך הגאווה של מסיבת נישואין בתל אביב, משבר בלי משמעות, ובאותה הדרך לרעבב אחד את השני, קצת כמו טבעות שמצאו את הדרך חזרה לידם.
En: David, Sarah, and Joseph, whose lives seemed to be completely off track, managed to feel that it was possible to pass through the pride of a wedding party in Tel Aviv, a crisis without meaning, and in the same way, to mix with each other, somewhat like rings that found their way back to their fingers.
