He: אברהם תיכף הצטייר בחשיכה.
En: Abraham was about to disappear into the darkness.

He: ירושלים, העיר העתיקה, התמקמה לו כמו מבוך מושך.
En: Jerusalem, the ancient city, was like a captivating maze to him.

He: אחד אחר אחד, במפתה מאוושת, הוא התקדם באותות רחובותיה האבניים.
En: One after another, in its mysterious charm, he made his way through its stone streets.

He: המטרה שלו?
En: His goal?

He: דוכן הפלאפל האהוב עליו.
En: His beloved falafel stand.

He: צפרים קטנות כמו מסמרים שחקים, משתזפות בו ממצפים ללא תוכנית.
En: Little birds, like playful nails, would swoop down on him unexpectedly.
