Story Transcript:

He: יש משהו באוויר של ירושלים, בשמסמינו הפותח את כנפיו באש על אבני הכותל, שמרגיש כמו מעין חום שיש רק שם.
En: There is something in the air of Jerusalem, in its scent that is set on fire on the stones of the Western Wall, that feels like a unique warmth.

He: אדם, זועם מטיול חואמני לאסיה, מנסה להתארגן על החוויה החדשה של פתום להיות במקום כל כך מוכר וזר בו זמנית.
En: Adam, angry from his exhausting trip to Asia, tries to organize himself for the new experience of being simultaneously in a place so familiar and foreign.

He: מאחלי התרמיל שלו מחזיק בדרך נוספת את חייו - גחלת, טלפונים, שניים, קלף אשראי קילומטרי וחצי מאכלים לגג.
En: His backpacking wishes hold an additional way of life - a sleeping bag, phones, two of them, a stack of credit cards half a kilometer high, and roof meals.

He: החדר שהזמין לעצמו, אמנם פשוט אך מספיק רגוע, נמצא בשיכונים העליונים של העיר העתיקה.
En: The room he booked for himself, though simple but calm enough, is located in the upper neighborhoods of the Old City.

He: אם יימצא הדרך, על פי גזר דינו, וישפיל מעט ראשו בפני הרחובות העבריים שאין לו מושג איך לנווט בהם.
En: If he finds his way, according to his ruling, and humbles his head a little in front of the Hebrew streets he has no idea how to navigate.

He: אך המסילה שהוא יעד לעצמו מסתברת פחות משעשעת ממה שחשב.
En: But the path he has set for himself turns out to be less entertaining than he thought.

He: הטלפון מתייבש, הספק והאנרגיה פחתים, והתרמיל הכבד מביא איתו משקל שלא התמזמן.
En: The phone gets dry, the power and energy diminish, and the heavy backpack brings an unexpected weight.

He: בינתיים, הוא מאבד את עצמו בפרטים הקטנים של העיר - האבנים, הנמל מספרים סיפור בלתי נפסק והזמן נע בקצב משלו.
En: In the meantime, he loses himself in the small details of the city - the stones, the port tells an endless story and time flows at its own pace.

He: אף אחד לא מעיז להזיז רף – הגגות העליונים, ממקום של יחידה, הפכו ל־ MI פורק, הגם שאדם, למרבה הפלא, הגיע לחיפוש החדר שלו.
En: No one dares to move an inch - the rooftops, from a unit's place, have become a maze, even though, surprisingly, Adam arrived to search for his room.

He: הוא שנה את השושנה שלו, אף אחד לא יכה את הגורל שלו, אף אחד כמובן לא הולך להתראות.
En: He changed his address, no one will hit his fate, of course, no one will say goodbye.

He: אף אחד לא יחזור, אף אחד לא ישאל אותו איפה, אף אחד לא יראה שהוא מבקש הולך לנתב.
En: No one will return, no one will ask him where, no one, of course, will see that he seeks guidance.

He: סיום טעון בחדר האינטרנט של אדם, במילים שנכתבו כל כך פו אנשים, אשר מרגישים שאינם צודקים.
En: The ending takes place in Adam's internet room, in words written so poorly by people who feel they are not right.

He: בהנחה שההשגחה על העיר מזזת את הגג, אדם מוצא את הדרך הביתה.
En: Assuming that the surveillance of the city moves the roof, Adam finds his way home.
