He: בחורף קר, בשכונת מגורים שקטה ומלאת שלווה, שלג לבן וטרי כיסה את כל הרחובות והגינות מסביב.
En: On a cold winter's day, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, fresh white snow covered all the streets and gardens around.
He: הבית של שירה היה מוקף בנס של חנוכה, עם נרות מנצנצים בחלונות וקישוטים שמחים על הדלתות.
En: Shira’s house was surrounded by the miracle of Hanukkah, with twinkling candles in the windows and cheerful decorations on the doors.
He: בוקר אחד, כאשר פתחה את הוילון בחדרה, הבחינה שירה בשלג הנקי שבחצר שלה.
En: One morning, when she opened the curtain in her room, Shira noticed the clean snow in her yard.
