En: "We can find it and prove that we are helpful.

It: L’idea è rischiosa, ma l’avventura li eccita.
En: The idea is risky, but the adventure excites them.

En: They plan down to the smallest details: while Alessandro distracts Professor Rossi with a question about assignments, Matteo and Giulia sneak in.

It: L’obiettivo è chiaro.
En: The goal is clear.

En: And while Alessandro manages to keep the professor engaged, Matteo and Giulia find a small clue: a forgotten slip of paper.

It: "Biblioteca," mormora Giulia.
En: "Library," Giulia murmurs.

It: Quel pomeriggio, inseguiti dai profumi dolci dei fiori del giardino, entrano in biblioteca.
En: That afternoon, followed by the sweet fragrances of the garden flowers, they enter the library.

It: Gli scaffali sembrano guardarli, pesanti di segreti.
En: The shelves seem to watch them, heavy with secrets.

En: The two friends search, side by side, among the history books and adventure novels.

En: Finally, behind a volume of Dante, they find the necklace.

It: "Era nascosta qui!"
En: "It was hidden here!"

It: Matteo esclama.
En: Matteo exclaims.

It: Ma chi può essere stato?
En: But who could it have been?

It: Mentre riflettono, un studente li osserva dall'ingresso.
En: As they ponder, a student watches them from the entrance.

En: It's Luca, a boy known for his romantic but bizarre ideas.

It: "Volevo solo impressionarla," ammette imbarazzato.
En: "I just wanted to impress her," he admits embarrassed.
