Story Transcript:

He: מתחת לשמש החמה של הפסח, אריאל וליאורה צעדו יחד בשבילי שמורת עין גדי.
En: Under the hot Passover sun, Ariel and Liora walked together along the paths of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.

He: הזמן היה אביב, והכל מסביב פרח בשלל צבעים וריחות.
En: It was springtime, and everything around was blooming in a multitude of colors and scents.

He: הקוצים והאבנים זרחו באור השמש, ונחלי המדבר השופעים ליוו אותם במנגינה מרעננת.
En: The thorns and stones glowed in the sunlight, and the flowing desert streams accompanied them with a refreshing melody.

He: ליאורה, בהרפתקנותה הרגילה, הובילה את הדרך בצעדים רחבים ובביטחון של בני תשע-עשרה.
En: Liora, in her usual adventurous spirit, led the way with wide steps and the confidence of a nineteen-year-old.

He: מאחוריה, אריאל בן השבע-עשרה, פסע אחורה.
En: Behind her, seventeen-year-old Ariel walked slightly behind.

He: הוא הרגיש צל קטן בעולם שבו אחותו הגדולה קורנת בנוכחותה.
En: He felt like a small shadow in a world where his older sister shone in her presence.

En: Ariel nodded seriously.

En: "I've studied the map of the reserve well.

En: Let's give it a try."

En: They turned off the marked path and entered a new adventure.

He: הצמחים סביבם הפכו פראיים יותר, השביל יותר תלול, אבל אריאל צעד עם ביטחון חדש.
En: The plants around them became more wild, the path more steep, but Ariel walked with newfound confidence.

He: הציפורים זימרו מלמעלה, וליבו של אריאל פעם בהתרגשות.
En: The birds sang from above, and Ariel's heart beat with excitement.

He: הם הגיעו לרכס סלעי שגרם לליאורה לעצור.
En: They reached a rocky ridge that made Liora stop.

He: ליאורה הביטה באריאל, גאווה בעיניה.
En: Liora looked at Ariel, pride in her eyes.

En: "Well done," she said with a smile.

He: "אתה באמת יכול להוביל.
En: "You really can lead."

He: "אריאל הרגיש לראשונה שהמילים שלה משמעותיות באמת.
En: Ariel felt for the first time that her words truly mattered.
