En: In Jerusalem, on a cheerful afternoon, Ari was sitting with Leah and David at school.
He: השמש זרחה וחיממה את החצר.
En: The sun was shining and warming the courtyard.
He: הכול היה מוכן.
En: Everything was ready.
He: ההופעה השנתית של בית הספר קרבה.
En: The school's annual performance was approaching.
He: ארי ניגן בגיטרה.
En: Ari played the guitar.
He: לאה שרה.
En: Leah sang.
He: דוד ניגן בתופים.
En: David played the drums.
He: הם היו קבוצה טובה.
En: They were a good group.
He: אבל כולם דאגו.
En: But everyone was worried.
He: האם יהיו טובים?
En: Would they be good?
He: "מוכנים?
En: "Ready?"
He: " שאלה לאה.
En: asked Leah.
He: היו להם ניצוצות בעיניים, אבל פחד בלב.
En: They had a sparkle in their eyes, but fear in their hearts.
He: "כן, אבל מפחד," אמר דוד.
En: "Yes, but I'm scared," said David.
He: "נעשה טוב," אמר ארי.
En: "We'll do well," said Ari.
He: "רק ננסה.
En: "Let's just try."
He: "בחדר החזרות, שיחקו מוזיקה.
En: In the rehearsal room, they played music.
He: הצליל היה יפה.
En: The sound was beautiful.
He: לאה שרה בקול חזק ונעים.
En: Leah sang with a strong and pleasant voice.
He: ארי ניגן ברגש.
En: Ari played with emotion.
He: דוד הכה בתופים בקצב מדויק.
En: David beat the drums with precise rhythm.
