En: On a cold winter's day in Yerushalayim, under clear blue skies, stood an ancient palace house.
He: אבני הארמון עתיקות ושקטות, אבל מלאה בהיסטוריה וסודות.
En: The stones of the palace were old and quiet, but full of history and secrets.
He: אורי, היסטוריון צעיר, ומרים, ארכאולוגית מוכשרת ואמיצה, הגיעו אל הארמון.
En: Ori, a young historian, and Miriam, a talented and brave archaeologist, arrived at the palace.
He: אבי רצה למצוא את הממצא האבוד מתוך החדר הנסתר בארמון שלדבריו מכיל סודות העבר.
En: Avi wanted to find the lost artifact from the hidden room in the palace which, according to him, contained the secrets of the past.
He: זה היה חנוכה.
En: It was Chanukah.
He: נרות חנוכייה דלקו ברחוב, והעיר הייתה מוארת וחגיגית.
En: Chanukah candles lit up the street, and the city was bright and festive.

En: But inside the palace, David, the current guard, was not cooperating.

En: Miriam was by his side, enriched with knowledge and determined to help.
He: כשהשעה הייתה מאוחרת והארמון ריק מאנשים, הם חיפשו את החדר הנסתר.
En: When it was late and the palace was empty of people, they searched for the hidden room.
He: הם עברו במסדרונות הקרים, מתחת ליריה של אורות החנוכה הרחוקים.
En: They walked through the cold corridors, under the distant glow of the Chanukah lights.
He: ואז, הם מצאו דלת חבויה מאחורי וילון כבד.
En: Then, they found a hidden door behind a heavy curtain.
He: כשהם נכנסו, הם ראו את דויד ליד הממצא האבוד, מנסה בשקט לגנוב אותו.
En: When they entered, they saw David by the lost artifact, quietly trying to steal it.
He: "היי!
En: "Hey!
He: מה אתה עושה כאן?
En: What are you doing here?"
He: " קראה מרים, התקרבה לעברו בזהירות.
En: called Miriam, approaching him cautiously.
He: דויד נרתע מהפתעה, ולרגע לקח צעד אחורה.
En: David recoiled in surprise, and for a moment took a step back.
He: "אני.
En: "I...
He: אני רק רציתי לשמור עליו," הוא אמר בהסתייגות.
En: I just wanted to keep it safe," he said hesitantly.
He: אבי תחב יד קדימה, "זה חייב להישאר במקומו.
En: Avi extended his hand forward, "This must remain in its place.
He: זה חלק מהמורשת שלנו.
En: It's part of our heritage."
He: "לאט, דויד הודה בתוכניות שלו לקחת את הממצא לעצמו, אך הבין את הטעות שלו.
En: Slowly, David admitted his plans to take the artifact for himself, but realized his mistake.
He: בזכות התמדה של אורי ונחישותה של מרים, הם הצליחו להחזיר את הממצא למקומו ולהגן עליו.
En: Thanks to Ori's persistence and Miriam's determination, they managed to return the artifact to its place and protect it.
