Story Transcript:

He: בשוק הגדול של העיר, שום יום לא התחיל כמו השני.
En: In the big market of the city, no day started like any other.

He: המוכרים קראו בקול רם למעברי האורח, והילדים דילגו בין ערימות הפירות.
En: The vendors called loudly to passersby, and the children skipped between piles of fruits.

He: אבל היום, השוק לא היה הדבר המעניין ביותר שקרה לעלי.
En: But today, the market wasn't the most interesting thing that happened to Ali.

He: "אתה חייב לראות את זה, עלי!
En: "You have to see this, Ali!"

He: " אמרה שרה, חברתו הטובה, כשלקחה אותו לחנות הבגדים החדשה בפינת הרחוב.
En: said Sarah, his good friend, as she took him to the new clothing store on the corner of the street.

He: "הם מוכרים חליפות מיוחדות במבצע!
En: "They're selling special outfits on sale!"

He: "עלי הביט בתלבושות הבוהקות ולא הצליח להחליט.
En: Ali looked at the dazzling outfits and couldn't decide.

He: לבסוף הוא בחר חליפה כחולה עם פסים.
En: In the end, he chose a blue outfit with stripes.

He: "נו, תנסה אותה!
En: "Now, try it on!"

He: " אמרה שרה בהתרגשות.
En: Sarah said excitedly.

He: בתא ההלבשה, עלי התחמם והתחיל להחליף בגדים.
En: In the fitting room, Ali warmed up and started changing clothes.

He: הוא התקשה למשוך את המכנסיים החדשים ולפתע - קרעק!
En: He struggled to pull on the new pants and suddenly - they tore!

He: היה זה קול קרע גדול, ועלי הרגיש איך חצאיו התחתון נעלם.
En: It was a loud ripping sound, and Ali felt his lower half exposed.

He: בלי מכנסיים, בתוך תא ההלבשה, עלי הרגיש חסר אונים.
En: Without pants, inside the fitting room, Ali felt embarrassed.

He: "תעזור לי, שרה!
En: "Help me, Sarah!"

He: " קרא באימה.
En: he called out in horror.

He: שרה מיהרה לשאול מה קרה, ועלי סיפר לה במבוכה על התאונה.
En: Sarah hurried to ask what happened, and Ali told her about the accident in distress.

He: שרה נכנסה למצב פעולה ורצה לחפש מכנסיים חדשים.
En: Sarah sprang into action and went to look for new pants.

He: ובזמן ששרה חיפשה, עלי נותר כלוא בתא, חושש מפני הרגע שאפשר יצטרך לצאת.
En: And while Sarah searched, Ali remained stuck in the room, worried about the moment he might have to come out.

He: שרה חזרה עם מכנסיים חדשים והניחה אותם ליד תא ההלבשה.
En: Sarah returned with new pants and placed them next to the fitting room.

He: עלי לבש אותם במהירות ויצא החוצה, עדיין קצת אדום בפנים, אבל עם חיוך.
En: Ali quickly put them on and came out, still a little red-faced but with a smile.

He: היחד, הם צחקו על המקרה.
En: Together, they laughed about the incident.

He: עלי הבטיח שייזהר יותר כשינסה בגדים בפעם הבאה, ושרה הבטיחה לתמיד להיות לידו ברגעים מבוכים כאלה.
En: Ali promised to be more careful when trying on clothes next time, and Sarah promised to always be by his side in embarrassing moments like these.

He: המוכר החליף את המכנסיים הקרועים, ושניהם יצאו מהחנות עם סיפור מצחיק לספר וחברות חזקה יותר מתמיד.
En: The vendor replaced the torn pants, and both of them left the store with a funny story to tell and a stronger friendship than ever.
