He: האוויר הצפוני של תל אביב נעשה חמים יותר כאשר יעל, מנהלת השיווק של החברה, כמעט שלחה לאוויר את מילת הקללה האהובה עליה.
En: The northern air of Tel Aviv became warmer as Yael, the company's marketing manager, almost let out her favorite curse word.

He: היא התכוונה לשמור אותה רק למחסן הפרטי שלה של מונחים שאינם מתאימים לשמיעה במקום עבודה, אך השפתון הלך קדימה חסר משמעת.
En: She intended to keep it for her private storage space with inappropriate items for the workplace, but the slip of the tongue got ahead of her.

He: אבי, הבוס, הסתכל בה מבולבל בעקבות המילה שיוצאת מפה שלה.
En: Avi, the boss, looked at her bewildered by the word that escaped her mouth.

He: הפיות שלו נעו להיפך, הוציא מקבילות אלכסוניות.
En: His eyebrows moved upwards and formed diagonal wrinkles.

He: לבת חייל, כלכח מתהודה אל תוך חלל הפגישה, מילים אחרות: "איזה סאגה, יעל.
En: Like an energetic wave, words from another soldier's heart entered the meeting room, saying: "What a saga, Yael."

He: "הקול שלו השתק את החלל.
En: His voice silenced the room.

He: למרות שהיא ישבה בראש השולחן הפעם, יעל הרגישה את עצמה מתכווצת.
En: Even though she was sitting at the head of the table this time, Yael felt herself shrinking.

He: חברי הצוות הם כמו שחפים.
En: Her team members seemed as dazed as she was.

He: שחף אחד, נועם, מנשף בקטנה חיוך.
En: One of them, Noam, flashed a small smile.

He: האם היו זקוקים לקצת מתיחה בתוך הפגישה הדאונית הזו?
En: Did they need some tension relief in this intense meeting?

He: נכון שהשנה הזו הורסת להם את הראש?
En: Was this year taking its toll on their minds?

He: בעצם, הם צמדו אליה.
En: In fact, they were all allied with her.

He: מקל עזרה ברגע בו מסתמנות ברגל של החברה קשיים.
En: Their support came at a time when the company was facing difficulties.

He: יעל מחייכת לו ממשתעלת: "תודה.
En: Yael smiled gratefully: "Thank you...

En: I...

He: אני לא.
En: I'm not..." Avi continued to look at her.

He: "אבי ממשיך להסתכל בה.
En: Had he moved past the shock stage?

He: האם הוא יצא מהשלב של ההלם?
En: Did he start to understand what had happened?

En: Or was he in a state of calm just before the storm?

En: Her hesitation corresponded with his hesitation.

En: The same tired gaze, the same silence.

En: "It's okay, Yael," the deep silence interrupted, "we celebrate small victories even in difficult times.

En: Allow yourselves a little movement, rest from the effort."

He: "החיוך שנפתח בינהם היווה את הסיום לפגישה הזו.
En: The smile that emerged between them marked the end of this meeting.

He: הסיפור שלהם היה עדיין בהתהוות, אך מרגע זה יעל ידעה שהם ימשיכו להתמודד, לצלוח את הרגעים האפלים אך גם את הלבנים, בידיים המחוברות יחד.
En: Their story was still unfolding, but from this moment on, Yael knew that they would continue to cope, conquer the dark moments along with the bright ones, with their hands linked together.
