He: אברהם, שירה ויוסי עמדו מבולבלים במטבח, מולם נראה כמו מר עולם של חומוס.
En: Avraham, Shira, and Yossi stood confused in the kitchen, facing what seemed like a world record amount of hummus.

He: "שש קילוגרםים?
En: "Six kilograms?

He: באמת?
En: Really?"

He: " תיאר התמהה אברהם.
En: exclaimed Avraham in astonishment.

He: היו ממלאים את הקערות עם חומוס כשהם מתכננים לערוך מסיבה קטנה בדירתם בתל אביב, אך כנראה שהזמינו את הכמויות לאולימפיאדת החומוס.
En: They were filling bowls with hummus as they planned to throw a small party at their Tel Aviv apartment, but it seemed like they had ordered the quantities for a hummus olympiad.

He: לתל אביב הייתה תרבות חומוס מאוד מפותחת, אך לעיתים קרובות אף אחד לא יכל להנחת את הקאסם של שלושתם.
En: Tel Aviv had a highly developed hummus culture, but often nobody could fathom the magnitude of their appetite.

En: Shira thought a hummus spa would be interesting as a joke, and Yossi thought they could use the remaining hummus as a facial mask.

En: But soon they realized it was much more than enough even for the hunger olympiad.

En: It was Avraham who came up with an idea.

En: "Have you ever heard of Gartel and the Hummus Prince?"

He: " הוא שאל.
En: he asked.

He: "זה הרעיון שלי!
En: "That's my idea!"

He: " המסיבה התחילה ועל מנת לממש את הרעיון, הוציאו את הטלוויזיה מהסלון והציבו במקומה את קערת החומוס הגדולה.
En: The party began, and to execute the idea, they took the television out of the living room and replaced it with a large bowl of hummus.

He: האותחלים הגיעו תוך שילוב התמהה, אך שירה הסבירה את החוקים – כל אחד צריך למצוא הכי הרבה יצירות יצירתיות להשתמש בחומוס.
En: The guests arrived in awe, but Shira explained the rules - everyone had to come up with as many creative works as possible using hummus.

He: המסיבה התפתחה למשחקיות מדהים.
En: The party turned into an amazing display of creativity.
