Story Transcript:

He: השמש זרחה על ירושלים.
En: The sun rose over Jerusalem.

He: מנדור חדש מתרופף על האגם המלאך בתוך העיר הקדושה, מערער קלויות וגשרי ציפורים שמתמזגים בנופה המוכר.
En: A new moon shone over the angelic lake in the holy city, reflecting the clear skies and the merging bridges of birds in its familiar scenery.

He: אברהם, יעל ושירה, שלושה חברים שנכנסו לדירה משותפת ברחוב בזל, הכינו ארוחת פיקניק לאותו צהריים שמשי.
En: Avraham, Yael, and Shira, three friends who had moved into a shared apartment on Bezalel Street, prepared a picnic meal for that sunny afternoon.

He: יעל הכינה סלט ירקות מרענן, שירה אפה מרקקים בשמן זית ואברהם הכין את מקרן שמשו - צלחת חומוס המרשימה הידועה.
En: Yael made a refreshing salad of vegetables, Shira cooked scrambled eggs in olive oil, and Avraham prepared his impressive dish - a plate of famous hummus.

He: מכנסיו של אברהם היו יום Paleo מזמין היה בשמש מנזנר רחוב.
En: Avraham's pants were invitingly wide, and the street vendor's sun was shining.

En: He leaned back and felt the warmth of the sun on his face.

En: He resisted the joining hummus on the floor.

He: אך כל זו לא מעוררת השתיים, אשר הן בהשראה מופתעת, טבלו את ההטבלה שלו לסירה של חומוס פינצתה.
En: But all this did not surprise the two, who were inspired unexpectedly, and they dipped their dipped bread into the pot of hummus.

En: And then, with a burst of laughter, they started teasing Avraham.

En: When Avraham, Yael, and Shira returned home after the picnic day, they passed on the hummus from the cosmos to a lower level beneath Bezalel Street.
