Story Transcript:

He: ביום חמשי של השבוע, אבי יצא לקניות לחמש השעות.
En: On the fifth day of the week, my dad went shopping for five hours.

He: השמש כבר התרפתה והלכה אך הכנמרר ברחבת רוטשילד בתל אביב רק החל להתחמם.
En: The sun had already set and the bitter cold in Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv was just starting to warm up.

He: אבי, שבדרכו חזרה מהסופרמרקט עם תיקי הניילון מלאים, נקלע לתוך המשחק.
En: On his way back from the supermarket with bags full of groceries, my dad stumbled upon the performance.

He: גובהו הרחוק מהממוצע, הגיל המתקדם והמשקפיים העגלגליות שלו לא מנעו ממנו להיכנס בטעות למרכז הריקודים של ההופעה.
En: His above-average height, advanced age, and round glasses didn't prevent him from accidentally entering the dance center of the show.

En: The happy crowd continued on its way, actors preparing for tomorrow.

En: And my dad went back home with the bags full of groceries in his hand, nothing was lost, but everything remained responsible.

He: הוא חווה מחדש את הצחוק, הקצב, התשוקה של אמצע השבוע בתל אביב.
En: He experienced once again the laughter, rhythm, and passion of midweek in Tel Aviv.

He: החיים שאבי חי בהם לא שאנו בתוך מנתחים והיה זו חוויה של לעזוב את אותו המסגרת של היום.
En: The life my dad lives was not enclosed within boundaries, and it was an experience of breaking free from the routine of the day.
