He: היום היה יום מיוחד בבית הכנסת.
En: Today was a special day at the Beit Knesset.

He: זה היה יום הבחירות, והמקום היה מלא באנשים שהגיעו להצביע.
En: It was election day, and the place was filled with people who came to vote.
