Story Transcript:

He: דוד היה בן עשר, והוא כל כך אהב לשחק בחוץ.
En: David was ten years old, and he loved playing outside so much.

He: היום היה יום חם ושמשני, אז הוא וחבריו הפיצוצים הלכו לשחק בפארק הקרוב לביתו בתל אביב.
En: Today was a hot and sunny day, so he and his explosive friends went to play in the park near his home in Tel Aviv.

He: וו!
En: hook!

He: דוד הגיע לפארק וראה משהו מוזר.
En: David arrived at the park and saw something strange.

He: דוכן חדש התקנה במרכז הפארק, דוכן פלאפל!
En: A new stand installed in the center of the park, a falafel stand!

He: הפלאפל היה מכוסה בחומוס הוא היה רק יכול לדמיין.
En: The falafel was covered in hummus he could only imagine.

He: דוד חשב שהדוכן הזה היה הכי מוזר ומעניין שפגש אי פעם.
En: David thought this stall was the strangest and most interesting he had ever encountered.

He: דוד גילה שהפלאפל היה לשולחן כשל הם יתקרבו, ושהיה לו כל דבר שהוא רק רצה.
En: David discovered that the falafel was on the table as they approached, and that he had everything he wanted.

He: הייתה שורה ארוכה של אחרים שחיכו לשם.
En: There was a long line of others waiting there.

He: דוד החליט לחכות כמה דקות-יכול להיות שהפלאפל הוא שווה את כל ההמתנה.
En: David decided to wait a few minutes - maybe the falafel is worth the whole wait.

He: השורה התקצרה, ואז הגיע דוד לתורו.
En: The line shortened, and then it was David's turn.

He: "היי," אמר הדוכן, "איך אני יכול לעזור לך?
En: "Hey," said the booth, "how can I help you?"

He: "דוד קיבל מהדוכן את הפלאפל המפתיע והעביר לו את הכסף.
En: David received the surprising falafel from the stand and handed him the money.

He: אכל את הפלאפל הם ה בעצמו ופתאום קרה משהו שלא הואיל לו ראות: הפלאפל הפתאומים התחילו לדבר!
En: He ate the falafel by himself and suddenly something happened that he didn't see: the falafel suddenly started talking!

He: "שלום," הם אמרו, "אנחנו הפלאפל הפתאומים!
En: "Hello," they said, "we are the sudden falafel!"

He: "דוד נרשם מאד.
En: David registered a lot.

He: "זהו, הזיהום נמרץ את הז׳וב חורים, ומטלית הספוגית דמיינת את זה," הם חייכו.
En: "That's it, the infection is energizing the job holes, and the sponge cloth imagined it," they smiled.

He: "אנחנו כאן כדי לעזור לך לקבל חיי חריף ועבה.
En: "We're here to help you get your life spicy and thick."

He: ""אני רוצה חיים חדשים!
En: "I want a new life!"

He: " אמר דוד.
En: David said.

He: "האם אתה מוכן?
En: "Are you ready?"

He: " שאלו הפלאפל הפתאומים.
En: These are the sudden falafel.

He: "כן!
En: "Yes!"

He: " צעק דוד כשהוא קפץ בשמחה.
En: David shouted as he jumped for joy.

He: מאז היו חייו של דוד כה בלטו ומלאים במקומות טובים ובלתי צפויים.
En: Since then, David's life has been so outstanding and full of good and unexpected places.

He: עכשיו הוא הכיר תל אביב יותר טוב מכולם, סרוגים בחומוס האהוב עליו, צולה בעגבניות לפניש אדומות כמו השמש שאחרי ימים חורחים בקיץ.
En: Now he knew Tel Aviv better than anyone, knitted with his favorite hummus, grilled with penish tomatoes as red as the sun after scorching days in summer.

He: המסוף: לא משנה כמה צריך לחכות - לעיתים כולנו פשוט זקוקים לפלאפל.
En: The terminal: no matter how long you have to wait - sometimes we all just need falafel.
