He: בלב העיר ירושלים, בשדרות השוק המואירות את הלילה, אביב ורחל יושבים בקפה. דיילים בשיחותיהם על היום שחלף והחומות העתיקות שמקיפות אותם. אך כאשר דוד הגיע, הסיפור החדש שהוא הביא איתו זעזע את שקטם.
En: In the heart of Jerusalem, on the illuminated market streets at night, Avi and Rachel are sitting in a cafe. Engrossed in their conversations about the day that passed and the ancient walls surrounding them. But when David arrived, the new story he brought with him shook their tranquility.

He: "שמעתם על החתול שגנב בייגל ממאפיית 'בית לחם' בתל אביב?" הוא שאל. רופף האירוניה בקולו הפקק את סיפורו. אביב, תמיד איש הנתונים, הביע ספק. רחל, שאיבדה את לבה לכל פיקניק וסיפור, הלהיטה ביד.
