A recovery run for Rob and this week's replacement Paul, top comic and, as it turns out, top runner Ivo Graham, as they test their thighs on a loop of Hampstead Heath after the Brighton Marathon, and compare their experiences - or get distracted along the way. Featuring Ivo's irritating natural ability, a bird Rob can't name, how to NOT prepare for a Marathon, some Supergrass comedy, a surprise gift, some new fans, and an exciting adventure in Wales coming up in a couple of weeks.
Thanks Ivo. PAUL TONKINSON WILL RETURN.

Paul and Rob take their now-customary turn around Hampstead Heath for the first run of the month, on a grey and blustery Spring day. Featuring Paul's parties, Rob's highs and lows, excitable dogs, posturing birds, Brighton decisions and predictions, and an incredible cascade of PBs and other adventures from you guys.

As March's beautiful weather fades and the temperature drops, Paul and Rob take one of those runs that remind us how lovely the world is, even on cold, grey days. Plus, of course, they've got lots to talk about; the weekend's adventures, from the thrills of Paul's social event of the season to the spills of Rob's van hire, trouble at the Oscars, birds, art, crazy boats and fairy rings, and running - lots of running - as more of your PB's flow in, and exciting events start crowding on the horizon.

As the weather improves - hopefully making recording easier as well as lifting the spirits - Paul and Rob up their distance on a long-ish trot to and around the soft surfaces of Hackney Marshes. Featuring parkrun reports, marathon tips for tyros and veterans, when and when not to ignore yourself, tentative future plans, cormorants, magnolias, covid finally breaching the defences of the Deering house - and your PBs!

A new tradition is developing, as Rob and Paul take to Hampstead Heath for a review of where they're at as the new month begins. Plot spoiler: the world is in violent disarray, and Spring has abandoned the charge.
Featuring the international emergency, gigs around the UK, new routes through the woods, mud, mud, glorious mud, and Rob's Half Marathon report, from an altogether sunnier day.

Paul and Rob catch up after a couple of weeks as the wind from the storms still blows. Featuring trouble at the toilets, Paul (sings) 'defying gravity', Rob's mileage vs pace woes, pretty flowers and quicksand, and a look forward to gigs and runs ahead. Apologies for Paul's lively microphone; must be due to his incredible new form...

Fascinating focus on form this week, as Paul picks the brains of Shane Benzie, running coach, movement specialist, researcher and founder of the Running Reborn coaching platform. Perfect timing for Paul, at last rediscovering his run after his injury-plagued 2021; can the author of the Lost Art of Running help Tonks with his movement mojo?
ROB WILL RETURN.

Paul's been running long, Rob's been running even longer than that, and they've both been touring 'up north', so there's lots to report on this trot - the boys' first visit to Alexandra Palace in some time. Featuring spotting friends, London feelings, ultra training, parkrun report, and, perhaps inevitably, Jimmy Carr. PLEASE NOTE: Some sound issues on this recording - apologies; the nasty noises towards the end are us, not you.
