En: "I came because I want us to talk. To understand and be understood."

En: Sophia approached, her feet sinking slightly into the sand.

En: "Do you remember how we always played here? How beautiful our summers were?" She tried to bring to light the nostalgic happiness of their past.

En: "Yes, but you forgot what happened after," Dimitris said with a hardness in his voice that concealed his sadness.

En: With the sea spreading out before them and the sun bathing them, Dimitris felt a new warmth envelop him.

En: Let's forget the past, if you can," he finally responded, his voice filled with determination to try.
