Book Club Episode: Renee and Jen chat about Didn't See That Coming by Rachel Hollis. After announcing this book as our November pick, we quickly came to realize that Rachel Hollis is very polarizing person (people either love her or hate her, and very few are neutral). We discuss the main reasons why people dislike her (involvement in MLMs, toxic positively, etc.) and we share our honest thoughts about the book.

EP46. Renee talks about all the household chores her husband cares about that she doesn't (dishes, laundry, dinner), and all the things she cares about that her husband doesn't (changing bedding, vacuuming, clean bathrooms). It is important to acknowledge that people have different priorities (care about different sh*t). Work together to get things done so everyone is happy but, don't expect someone else to care about things to the same degree that you do.

EP44. Renee takes us through the evolution of her relationship with regard to sleeping in the same bed with her now husband. How have her views on couples sharing a bed and her bed sharing habits changed throughout dating, living together, marriage, pregnancy, the newborn stage, and toddlerhood? Can we stop the socially constructed (not science-based) belief that sharing a bed is what makes a strong and healthy relationship?
