When actress Noel Elie was diagnosed with Lyme disease, she decided not to rely on mainstream medicine but instead opted to utilize alternative treatment modalities, beginning with plant therapy.

For Noel, her very first introduction to plant medicine through microdosing psilocybin and ayahuasca served as an amazing gateway into her journey toward holistic healing.

"I don't look at it as being defiant; I look at it as being curious," says Noel, speaking on her decision to look the other way despite her doctors' advice at the outset of her diagnosis.

Noel describes the painful letting-go process that followed when she realized that she and her husband had to find a new home after testing the house for mold, and how this process helped her become more intentional about her health and possessions.

Finally, Noel touches on the power of intuition and how to surrender yourself to it when faced with a decision.
