As promised to finish up cult month/October, we are bringing back last week’s anonymous guest and Scientology survivor for a part 2 continuation of last week's episode! and this time, we are focusing on some of the negative aspects of it.
Today, on Almost Adulting, we’re continuing where we left off, but diving into the most current conspiracies and rumors surrounding Scientology. Violet and the guest unpack the mystery of Shelly, the current leader of the Church of Scientology, David’s Miscavige’s previously active and visible wife who has suddenly disappeared from the limelight. Naturally this leads to the question: are Scientologists turning a blind eye on what’s really happening inside the organization? And what is their rule about same sex marriage, porn, and s*x outside of marriage that makes anyone almost abandon their freedom once they become part of the group?
