Episode #2 of May’s Mental Health Month.
"It's always the people that never loved us that teach us the most about love."
If you’ve lost yourself in your last relationship, let me hand you the roadmap to finding yourself again.
In today’s episode, Human Connections Specialist, Mark Groves, teaches us all about prioritizing yourself and your healing after a breakup. If you’re not over the last guy that ghosted you, it’s okay because neither am I. The only thing that’s not okay is not loving yourself. I know, it’s easier said than done. But remember, pain might occur in a relationship, but so does healing.

In honor of May's #MentalHealthMonth, we open the month with a dear episode of mine where I cover all sides of depression and my own battle with it.
On today's episode, I share one of the darkest times of my life. As I choke up and cry, I share my painful story of shame, battling clinical depression 6 years ago, and how I almost didn't think I'd survive. I also discuss the difference between being sad, feeling depressed, and having actual clinical depression.
PERSONAL MESSAGE TO MY BESTIES OUT THERE:
Please know that you are not alone, you are loved, and I'm so proud of you for getting out of bed today! The pain you are feeling won't last forever... I promise. The sun will rise tomorrow and we will try again. <3
If you or anyone you know is battling with depression or having suicidal thoughts, please speak up.

Hey, Besties! Welcome to Part 2 with Nicole Behnam. Now that we’re done talking about CRYPTO, NFT, and the confusing jargon for dummies, let’s move on to how you can excel in a toxic, manipulative workplace and setting boundaries for yourself at work. And let’s not forget how having a good MENTOR can help improve your career. If you get the chance, get one!
And then, we also cover the highs and lows of relationships, being okay with showing emotions and expressions of love, why LOVE BOMBING isn’t gonna work, the RED FLAGS of future bad behavior in your partner, and many more love and relationship lessons from two women who’s seen and been in bad and crazy relationships!

And I’m back! Last week I talked about how Daddy Issues was created and how a career shift changed my life. Today, we’re pivoting to something interesting that most rich guys are investing in, CRYPTO currency!
I sit down with Nicole Behnam, a Crypto, NFT, and Tech investor and advisor to discuss the very basic fundamentals of NFT and crypto, the jargons that are a bit confusing but totally cool when you learn and understand them, and the ins and outs of moving your money around the space.
Yeah, it’s a lot to take in but I promise, you need this in your life. You gotta learn about Web 3 and where to invest your money.

Before anything else, let me put this out here, THIS episode talks about BULLYING in the office space and losing yourself in the process because the BULLIES made you believe that you’re supposed to take it all in.
Last week, we talked about how to succeed in life and get THE dream job. Today, we will focus on WHY it’s okay to ditch your dream job when it’s making you miserable and unhappy. I started Daddy Issues because I was bullied and even though this alter ego is a completely different person, she is happy. She conquered her world and she thrived in the social circles she wanted to be a part of.
So yes, Bestie! You can do it even if others think you can’t. Believe in what YOU can do!

Hey Besties! We got another 2-part Solo episode. This time though, we will talk about serious stuff, like life lessons, getting a job, and having a career. Surprise! Surprise!
High school didn’t have any notable academic achievements but I did have a degree in Accounting and studied business law undergrad. Why am I talking about this? Well, the LIFE LESSONS I’m going to talk about is to show you how a high school underachiever got an internship with the District Attorney’s office, got a new job position created in an accounting firm, and got to compete with overly qualified men for a promotion. You gotta work that ass, bestie!
As my Dad had said to an 11-year-old Violet, “All you will have is your education and your career. So you better think smart and you better start now!”

So, I start the episode with finally answering why I had to leave behind TOO TIRED TO BE CRAZY for a new podcast name, the personal issues I had to address with my Daddy Issues persona, convo with my mom, and exciting DEALS and PROMOS in the podcast for you guys!
