Ca: Marta era una dona amable i molt despistada que vivia a Barcelona.
En: Marta was a kind and very clueless woman who lived in Barcelona.

Ca: Un dia, mentre passejava pel centre comercial més concorregut de la ciutat, va decidir entrar per fer una mica de compres.
En: One day, while walking through the busiest mall in town, he decided to go in to do a little shopping.

Ca: Amb la seva bossa a l'espatlla, Marta va entrar al centre comercial, tot emocionada per les ofertes del dia.
En: With her bag over her shoulder, Marta entered the mall, all excited about the day's deals.

Ca: Però, en un moment de distracció, va quedar atrapada accidentalment en una porta giratòria.
En: But, in a moment of distraction, she accidentally got caught in a revolving door.

Ca: La porta no deixava de girar i ella s'hi va quedar enganxada sense poder sortir.

Ca: La Marta, el Jordi i la Laia havien decidit passar el dia a la plaça, on es celebrava un concurs casteller animat i còmic.

Ca: La plaça estava plena de gent, gaudint de l'aire lleuger de la primavera i esperant amb emoció l'inici del concurs.

Ca: Però abans de poder donar-li el primer mos, una gavina li va robar l'entrepà.

Ca: La Plaça de Sant Jaume de Barcelona estava plena de vida i alegria aquell dissabte a la tarda.

Ca: El so de la música es barrejava amb les rialles dels vianants i el soroll de les converses animades.

Ca: Quan va arribar al mercat, va quedar impressionat per la quantitat de parades que hi havia i per l'olor afruitada que envaïa l'aire.

Ca: Va caminar per tot el mercat fins que va arribar a una parada de fruites molt colorida i plena de varietats.

Ca: Era una tarda assolellada a Barcelona i Marc tenia molta set.
En: It was a sunny afternoon in Barcelona and Marc was very thirsty.

Ca: Va decidir anar a un bar a prop per demanar una cervesa ben fresca.
En: He decided to go to a nearby bar to order a cold beer.

Ca: Quan va entrar al bar, va notar que estava ple de gent.
En: When he entered the bar, he noticed that it was full of people.

Ca: S'havia de donar una mica de pressa per trobar un lloc on seure.
En: You had to hurry to find a place to sit.

Ca: Marc es va acostar a la barra i va saludar el cambrer.
En: Marc walked up to the bar and greeted the bartender.

Ca: Però, quan el va escoltar parlar en castellà, va saber que hi hauria un petit problema.

Ca: Marta, Jordi i Laia es trobaven entre la multitud, emocionats per celebrar La tamborrada, un festival català tradicional.

Ca: Enmig de l'eufòria, Marta va veure un stand amb tambors i no va poder resistir la temptació de tocar-ne un.
