Uk: Дмитро стояв на стінах стародавнього Києва, вдивляючись у горизонт.
En: Dmytro stood on the walls of ancient Kyiv, gazing into the horizon.
Uk: Над полями, де вже зібрали пшеницю, висіла тиша пізнього літа.
En: Over the fields where the wheat had already been harvested, the silence of late summer hung.
Uk: Все затихло лише на мить, спокій перед блискавкою простирається перед бурею.
En: Everything quieted for just a moment, the calm before the storm stretched before the impending tempest.
Uk: Далеко на обрії клубочилися темні хмари — наближались печеніги, і час готуватися до бою невпинно спливав.
